When I was your age....

So I stole this idea off another forum, and I think it's a good one.

Think back 10-15 years, when you were a little kid. Remember what cars you thought were "cool" in your 10 year old mind? What cars caught your eye when you were a young buck?

For me, it's embarrassing, but I used to think the 2500 Dodge Ram was the coolest thing ever. Every time I seen one, I would yell out "LOOK MOM IT'S A BEEFY TRUCK!" haha

I'll admit, if I could find one of these on the cheapness with a lift and some fat tires and a v10, I would be on that shit. Still think they are beastly.... This is coming from a Chevy guy who normally hates Dodge Ram trucks....



I can also remember that my aunt had a factory pearl-painted Mercury Cougar. I told her it was cooler than a Ferrari.... I better put on my flame suit for that one...



And finally, the one car I grew up dreaming about that ISN'T embarassing -- the Nismo 400R. I seen it in Gran Turismo 2, and I was hooked on it. OMNOMNOMNOM




So what was your ten-year-old self into? What did you like before you knew about cars?

 

mine as a kid from gran tourismo would be that rally suzuki with the front and rear engines and the GIGANTIC wing. i forget the name! but it was BADASS!

Dodge Avenger - I liked Dodge quite a bit growing up. They had big cool trucks And I lived in a hick town, you had to like a truck. But my first car I wanted this, just could not afford it.


Mercury Tracer - Saw it at a Track meet.... WANTED IT. Looked at them for my second car..... that little 1. what ever engine looked like it was going to shake its self to death! So i did not get it


And my more redeeming one
Dodge Viper - Probably stemmed off of my brothers love of it, but this is still a car I want. Biggest engine I can get in it, blue with white stripes

 

Dodge car designers must all be ten years old. Little kids love them lol
