dont get me wrong, big meets are fun but.... these where way cooler when it was like 20ish cool cars and 30ish cool ppl insted of 75+ whith PPL all over the place
change monthy to new locations?

 

No problem, dude! I enjoy shooting at stuff like this, that last shot turned out well in my mind thanks to a car I didn't see leaving Wendy's until the shutter was open, creating a nice light streak straight through the middle of the shot.

I dunno about a change yet, this last week wasn't so bad. Sure, there were a lot of people, but it was fairly controlled and beyond a few trash issues I saw and rectified there wasn't much to complain about.

 

No plans on changing location. Sonic is a great location and has some good parking to it.

It was my plan to get more people out to this when we started the meets I post on a few other forums every Wednesday to get some other groups joining us. We learn from each other and we make new geeky friends this way. I walk around and talk to most people even if I don't know them. Just to see what is up. That is how I met all of you guys after all

We also won't move to a bigger location. I agree that we don't want this to just get bigger and bigger. There is no point in catering to 100+ cars unless it is an official fund raiser or something.

If we want to do just a MNGG (and close friends) thing I'm all for scheduling some events like that. Lots of groups do the picnic thing at a park. I think if we find a park with a skate park in it, that could be fun.

Thanks for inviting us mnsubaru types - it was interesting to see such a diverse group of cars/tastes/owners all together.

We are missing that warm weather from meet #1, but oh well. We still have fun (and a good turn out) without the weather being super warm.

Well wasn't this an adventurous meet. Lots of people, cars, babies, dogs, and cops. Goes to show you that we are doing these meets right! Also goes to show you that if you 'break the law' we will notify the authorities. DON'T BE STUPID!
