LAST YEAR we were lucky to have a decent group there by 6:30.

Jon, Aaron, Mo, myself, and anyone else who'd meet and cruise out from the West Metro would always show up around 6:20-30 and out of the entire 5 month period I can count on one hand the number of times we left "on time" at 5:45 and were NOT the first ones there. You can post up 6:00 everywhere you want, it's your meet, your club, and your credibility, but at the end of the day that's an unrealistic time to advertise. For 90% of the Wednesdays over the winter, we simply don't hit that target.

If you want to grow this club and gain more active contributing members, we need to be selling ourselves. It's like a job interview. Would you give a job to someone who said they'd be there at 6:00 and showed up at 6:25? frack, I wouldn't even consider them if they showed up at 6:01 without a damn good excuse and fracking proof of it. It needs to be remembered that first impressions are everything and if the meet can't happen at the advertised time every week then that time needs to be evaluated. End of story.

    6:30 is my vote.

    Lol.

As Erik has been telling me for ever now. This is not a business, this is a place that we want like mind people to be able to come to and talk about a love of cars. It always has been.

Who cares if you are first, second, or third to show up to a meet. Drink a beer and enjoy yourself :)

I really hope this fucking snow clears up on the roads. I want to come in Teh Evo tonight and not the shit box.

The roads were not too bad this morning, just the accidents killed traffic. I think you'll be fine :)

That being said, I'll see all you guys there!

I would have thought a EVO could handle a little snow. :D

Stock Yokahama Advan A13C. They're strictly a summer only tire. There's even a warning label (I couldn't find the picture) on the door when you buy the car that basically says "If you drive on these tires in the winter, you're fucking crazy."

Since it died in October, I never put snows on it.
