Red Bull Romaniacs even more impressive in slow motion

It's a lot of fun to watch motorcycles being pushed to their limits, with riders manipulating machines to do exactly what they want. Red Bull apparently understands that fact well, as it has taken the minimalist approach to promoting the Red Bull Romaniacs Hard-Enduro Rally in Sibiu, Romania, from July 15-19. The video promo is simply slow-motion video of cycles negotiating tough terrain set to music, and it's fairly amazing.

The enduro rally takes place over four days this summer in the Southern Carpathian Mountains, with stages going for 100 to 200 kilometers per day (62 to 124 miles). According to the promoter, the race is meant to have a high difficulty level, and tarmac is avoided has much as possible along the planned route. With so many riders having to abandon the competition, it claims "to finish is to be a winner."
