    Just saying.

Also, holy bomber run, Batman. Seriously. I can say for sure that it's going to be an absolute blast, and that I hands down picked the BEST driving roads within two hours of the 'Cities.

MNGG events will NEVER have a restriction of make/model that can come to an event :)

The rest I'll leave up to Grappler and Spaz to answer :)

I believe that it's about 115 miles between each leg of the trip. There will be no gas stops, so if you're like Spaz and I where you get 14MPG on E85, you'll want to bring about 10 gallons of extra fuel (sorry, not sure what you drive).

So we will stop for gas after each leg right? I drive a S2000, I am thinking I will have enough gas. Or should I bring extra fuel?

No, there is a stop for lunch I believe. If you run off during that time to get gas, you're on your own.

    Spaz, is this correct?

    That is correct, sir.

Basically, unless you'd like to use our scheduled break time outside of lunch (The lunch spot is great for a stroll to stretch your legs) you should plan on being able to go 230 miles of spirited driving on a single tank. I'm estimating that most pump gas cars will get between 17-20mpg, and highly suggest bringing spare fuel. We have someone who should be coming who will have a fuel rack on the back of their car along with spare cans, so if the distance is a concern with the lack of your car's ability to carry fuel jugs, don't sweat it.

^ fixed my lack of IMG coding... even though you reminded me twice and I still forgot :/

I am extremely excited to go driving these roads instead of sitting in the passenger seat holding on to a 10lb+ laptop. (hehe)

I fully plan on getting ~17 mpg (91) I will try and verify that when we retest that first section.

To give you a rough Idea of what the roads will be like. I would advise those of you with passengers not to let them sit in the back of the car.

And if I'm reading you correctly, people should be able to run to the BP 2 blocks from the lunch spot as long as they don't need 93 or E85, correct? (all within the time frame of the lunch break IE; not waiting for people to get gas)

What BP doesn't have 93 in MN? Weird.

I'll race anyone on E85 to Mount Rushmore. bet I win.

So this is will be the first time I drive with this group. What are the rules or guidlines for this drive?

I'll be covering everything at the driver's meeting, but I'd most importantly like to note that this is a cruise, and not a race. Your car doesn't have to be the most prepared, but at the end of the day you need to not overdrive your car, yourself, or most importantly the roads.

Everything else will be secondary to that.

I'd go with the car if it's nice out... though I think it's the same deal as the 'style cruise. Looking at a 300 mile round trip for me which would be tight on a full tank +3x5gallon cans.

Willing to haul a 5 gallon can of E98 for me so I can bring the Evo, Spazzy?

I get like 12mpg cruising at freeway speeds, and low single digits when ripping on it.

Edit-like everything else with my car, this is all assuming it doesnt rain that day. It's not that I have something against my car getting wet, it's just dangerous to drive when the roads aren't dry.

Josh with the white Evo is probably coming, and he has a fuel rack for his trailer hitch. I won't have room for spare cans but he definitely will. I'm sure someone else may as well.
