Found a DIY photo at http://hikickracing.blogspot.com/2010/11/sway-bar-short-endlinks.html that showed how to make adjustable drop end links.Nice thing is that with QA1s vast catalog of parts any one could do the same for any car! All it takes is a measuring tape an some knowledge on the size of bolts that connect the anti rollbar to the other parts of your suspension. WIN FOR ALL!!!

Parts list for Miata endlinks (part # are from QA1)

4x MCFR10 (female end link with an eye size of 10 mm)
4x MCMR10 (male end link with an eye size of 10mm)
    4x 10mm x 1.5 nuts for male end links
8x 10mm x 1.0 (or what the pitch is for the bolts you have)
    4x 10mm x 60mm bolts
    4X 10mm x 50mm bolts
    16x 10mm lock washers
    16x Thin rubber washers
    24x (ish) 10mm washers

    Step 1

Assemble like the photo, keeping in mind that it may take more or less washers to shore up the slack in the lower control arm mounts.

    Step 2

    Finish the other 3 links.

    Step 3

    Remove the old links.

The size of the old bolts an nuts should be 14mm.

    Step 4

    Install new parts.

For mine I used 3 washers on the bottom of the link to remove the little slack it had, it also allowed me to shim the link to be as close to a 90 deg to the anti sway bar.

So the combo was (going from back to front of car) lower control arm bracket, washer, rubber washer, eyelet, rubber washer, washerX2, lower control arm bracket. Don't forget to use the lock washers!!!

    Step 5

Do the same for the other side, it might be half way done any way if your car was like mine AKA one of my anti sway bar bolts was broken an missing the part that had the nut.

remember to do the same shimming on the opposite side.

    Step 6

Do the front like the back, keeping in mind that the washers will be diffrent depending on the anti roll bar that you have an the setting that you have it on.

    Step 7

    BEER!!!!

After it was all sead an done the whole setup was 68.53, could be done cheaper but i did'ent want to use my old hard ware after seeing what was missing under neath.

When you lower a car it changes the distance from the lower arm to the anti sway bar, thus preloading it. With the links you can remove the preload an keep the links from hitting the upper arms an or the springs.

Correct suspension geometry, more or less.
