I'm helping to organize a meet/car show in the Hastings area. My buddy Patrick joined the Marines a few months back, and has been basically cut off from the auto-world while in basic. He is a huge car-nerd like myself, and my fiance had this great idea to plan a meet for when he gets back, as a surprise gift to him.

The exact day is still unknown, because he broke his hip in basic, and they don't know exactly when he will be back here in MN, but he will know when he comes back (and we'll know the exact day of the meet) on July 22nd. I know it's kinda lame that we don't have an exact date planned, but I'll let you know as soon as I can what the exact date will be.

We have no idea how many cars will be there, but we won't turn anyone away. We want to have as many cars as possible. Just because you might not know my buddy doesn't mean you shouldn't come. So far a few other people that don't know him have said they are down, so you should too. If you need more reasons to justify it, just say it's a thank you gift for him joining the military.

The more people we have, the more fun it will be. Bring your car, bring your friends, lets make this the best "Welcome Home" gift you can imagine!

As an extra incentive, all who attend will get a discounted/free professional photoshoot of their ride by my fiance, Laurenn Dame. You can choose to have your shoot at the event, or at a later date.

i'll come. fellow marine here, so i'm always down. the only downside to this is if it's anywhere between the 16th of july and the 1st of august i have annual training in yuma, so that's a legit reason i wouldn't be able to go

The meet will very likely be held in Hastings, MN, down by the lock and dam. Nice shady parking lot and a big open feild next to it. Tons of room for fun. Sorry I didn't mention this before.
