SRT brings Ryan Hunter-Reay, Rob Bell on board to pilot Viper GTS-R

    Testing got under way this weekend at Daytona, and before we know it the 2014 racing season will officially kick off with the Rolex 24 at the end of this month. That's prompted a number of teams to announce their driver lineups for the inaugural IMSA Tudor United SportsCar Championship, and Chrysler's SRT Motorsports team is the latest among them.

    The two new additions to the SRT lineup consist of Ryan Hunter-Reay and Rob Bell, two seasoned drivers who ought to help the Viper cross the finish line ahead of the competition. The 2012 IndyCar Series champion, Hunter-Reay is a proven talent across numerous series, having won races in IndyCar, CART, Champ Car, ALMS and Grand-Am. Meanwhile Rob Bell is a two-time European Le Mans Series champion, having driven for the liked of McLaren, Ferrari, Aston Martin and Porsche on both sides of the Atlantic.

    Hunter-Reay will join returning drivers Dominik Farnbacker and Marc Goossens in the No. 91 Viper GTS-R, while Bell will team up with Jonathan Bomarito and Kuno Wittmer under No. 93. They'll be up against some fierce competition in the GTLM class from the likes of Aston Martin, BMW, Corvette, Risi Competizione and Team Falken.
