What does everyone run for winter tires. And what are your experiences/recommendations. So far I've been looking into Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D/M3 Bridgestone Blizzak WS70 HANKOOK I CEPT EVO W310 Yokohama Ice Guard IG20 Goodyear Ultra Grip Winter
I'll add two. General Altimax Arctic - Cheap as hell, but you'd never expect this kind of performance from a General. Only reason I'm not running them is that they were nationally out of stock in my size (that should tell you something) when I last purchsed winter tires. These come highly recommended by a number of car guys with all types of drivelines. Nitto SN2 - I've run these for the past 3 winters on the Evo. Ask anyone on here who's driven or riden with me, these tires rock in the snow on the throttle. Braking performance leaves a bit to be desired in comparison to the Generals, but I've been very impressed with how well these handled the understeer tendencies of the chassis in the snow.
