Any one here know a shop that will not scratch, dent, bent your rims or your car when they put tires on for you? I am in Burnsville, don't mind a drive if it is done right.
I actually was at the alignment guy recently and he put a scratch in 3 of my wheels. Very very faint, but this is after he was telling me how other shops don't change out the C shaped piece and that's what causes the scratches people get.. then he proceeds to drop the bar he holds and the machine keeps spinning. Even though he did a pretty good job aligning my car for a good price.. I just can't recommend him to anyone.
I would hope Stellar would be what you are looking for. But I have not dealt with them personally yet. They are a shop for that more ' performance' car.
We've got a member here, FoxintheDen, who works at the Firestone in Brooklyn Center. Since I met him, he's done all of my tire stuff and I've never had any issues. If you wanted to have him personally do it, PM him and get his work schedule, he generally works evenings.
Thank you for the recommendations. I ended up using Norm's Tire in St Paul. They do lots of Corvettes, 50's 60's cars. I figured these owners are pretty anal about their rides so what good for them should be good for me. I was very happy with their service, they inspected my rims prior and after with me standing there. To make sure there was no scratches, cost a bit more than most but what it is worth it to me.
