Another noob

Just thought I'd swing by and say hello. Probably don't know hardly anyone on here. Name is Brandon. Used to be a Mitsu guy. Had a 600hp Talon that I ran a best time of 10.93 @ 137 at the first MAP Proving Grounds.

I'm 31 now and felt I needed something a little more mature. Parted out the Talon, and now have a 92 SC300. Bought it basically stock, and have since turbo'd it. Last time on the dyno (2 years ago) made 400hp. This year I hope to beat that number by a couple hundred

Anyhow, thought I'd say hi. If you see me around, feel free to wave or flip me the bird or whatever floats your boat.

JohnnyT, pretty sure I seen you in the MNMazda chat box today. I'm also on style so seen ur thread over there. I live up in Blaine. Yeah I brought my Talons to the first 3 proving grounds. Haven't really had the SC300 out much yet though. Hopefully this summer I'll have it out more if I can finish it up.

It's a shame what happened to that old Talon shell.

 

I don't even know where it is anymore, it was pretty clean and completely rust free which isn't easy to find now a days Part of me would love to take it back if I found it, but at the same time I got rid of it for a reason so maybe not

You guys ever do any meets? If I get the Lexus up and running at some point this summer, would be interested to find a spot to meet some people.

 

We are doing a spring cruise on the 19th and weekly Wednesday meets. Usually at Sonic this time of the year but since the weather can't make up its mind we are currently at Carbones.

Facebook or if you hate social media we typically do a good job of keeping events up to date on the forum too.

 

Which ones? There is a Carbones not too far from me in Circle Pines I think.
