How I got the Mazda Logo on My Calipers

when I first bought my car, my calipers were painted, so I have no experience with that
but, I saw online that people were putting Mazda logo stickers on their calipers.
now I didn't think that was a great idea, seeing as they get all hot and stuff.
so one day at school, I had a vinyl cutting machine and was bored, so I cut out stencils of the Mazda logo and brought them home hoping to paint Mazda logos on my calipers.

I picked up a can of white spray paint from oriely's that was rated for up to like 500 degrees (it wasn't caliper specific).

then one night I just went to work, without even thinking it through
these next pictures show the steps I went through




and this is the finished product, well almost


being the impatient bastard I am, i took the vinyl off with out letting it dry much, screwing up a bit of paint, I found a little paint brush and touched everything caliper up by hand and then everything was perfect


and after the wheel was back on

That was a fun night. And yeah they've held up really well too.

 

Very cool idea. I also saw a lot of Mazda owner who got mazda logo on their calipers. But I believe you can bought calipers already with the logo. I think I saw one from a Mazda parts store near our place but I think this is an awesome job mate. Thanks for sharing.

 

I haven't seen any with the Mazda logo already on them. But I have bought the caliper decals also and will maybe get them on
