2nd Annual Porkapalooza - 01/28/12

What is a Porkapalooza you ask??
A porkapalooza is a food/cooking event where all dishes made must contain a Pork product. The more creative you get, the more fun the party is! The easy way out would be to just make a honey baked ham, but how about instead making a bacon cake? With bacon frosting? Now you're talking!

We hosted one of these at our house last year and definitely want to do another one!

Details: Please bring a dish to share. And as the rules state above, ANY and EVERY dish brought MUST contain a pork product, or else I might just throw it into the snow So if you make Jello, that Jello better have bacon in it

Should we start a list of what we plan to bring? I know for sure I'll be making a batch of "candied-bacon butter" that we can put on pretty much anything! Plus I'll come up with something bigger to bring too

Sure! But I will give the option of people don't have to tell what they are bringing also In case they are wanting to make it an awesome surprise List will be in the first post and i'll keep it updated as people mention what they will be bringing.

 

Bumping to the top. This event is coming up soon! You better figure out what you plan on making for the funs! MUST include pork in the dish. Whether it is dessert or not. Get creative guys!
