Noob with a Fit

Hey geeks, heard about this site from a spotted thread figured id join. Some of you might recognize my car, its a 08 Honda Fit and at one time it was boosted.

A peek at what I have been up to with the car the past three months

 

I love when people build these. They have serious potential from every direction

drove it a bit a few weeks ago then it went back to the shop. The stock Fit motor mounts are way to soft so the engine would rock like crazy and the aftermarket TPS crapped out after half a day. So I ordered stiffer mounts and found a used throttle body to grab the sensors from. Fingers crossed ill have the car back into my hands thursday

 

That is one mean looking Fit. I love those cars! There is some definite potential there, but I don't tend to see it too often, so I'm glad you could join us. Get the car and come on out to a Wednesday meet some time. I'd love to see it

 

Not familiar with your build, but is it not boosted now? Not sure if I was misreading that? What was the set up before?

 

I had a Kraftwerks supercharger with 5 psi and a top mount intercooler, you can see the set up in my first engine pic. The car was Auto and with that set up I made 120whp, stock was 85whp so not to shabby.

I ditched that set up and picked up a 06 TSX K24A2 and a 06 Si trans. I now have a 6speed Honda Fit that makes 198whp/180tq on a base tune. Im going to put a few miles on the car then get it re-tuned and hope to hit 250whp
