Hi everyone i am Connor and i have posted on here once before at the start of the summer introducing myself and what not, and i was planning on posting a lot more with mods i was going to do with my Subaru but due to events shortly after i had to loose her. Now i am driving a 09 Scion Tc as a daily driver (my mothers car), and recently got permission to do physical mods (changing the shifter knob, new rims...ect) since i will be getting the car as a graduation gift next year and i am planning to do a few things this weekend and just wanted to get some second opinions! Thanks

This weekend i am planning on Painting the calipers red, Repairing the rims from bad curb rash, plasti dipping and glossifying the rims after repairs, plasti dipping emblems. What do you guys think? Any suggestions or tips?

Keep it stock and save your money for something worth it... That's my tip.

Plasti dip on emblems tends to come off fairly quickly I would use nail polish.

Works pretty well on the wheels though.

As for painting calipers I hear it give you an extra 25kw

IMO new rims can work wonders for performance and looks (saved 10# each wheel when I swaped). As for painting calipers, I would go with something a little more stealthy then red calipers on a blue car, but it all depends what your going for. Good luck.

Simple exterior mods I did to my car were
    - Tinted reflectors/side markers
    - Painted emblems
    - Yellow Fogs

I wanted painted calipers, bought the blue paint, then decided I wanted something less 'bright'. I plan to do them in a nice black when I get to it

And as others have said. The question is what do you want with your car? If you plan on being a bit more race orientated then you should look at weight savings (no plastic dip and lighter wheels) or even simple things to boost performance a little (intake).

Even if you never track the car, some stuff can be done just to increase the mpg.
