I'll be going to my first meet hopefully on Jan. 2nd I really hope to get to meet a lot of you there!!!!

I got scheduled to close with no hope of relief.

My impoverished coworker, the usual Wednesday closer, who loses half his paychecks to his ex wife, can somehow afford to take yet ANOTHER vacation for two goddamn weeks, this time to DC, and the only other keyholder besides us two has to go be a part of his cult every Wednesday night.

Fuckers.

I will eventually make it out to one of these again. Last Wednesday I was secluded to work but got backed off at 3pm so I ended up still being dead tired around 6pm.

But he called in sick on Monday, we told him no, and he went and got a doctor's note like a bitch. I'll show you the text messages I sent him at the meet tonight. One of them was a 5-pager.

Well, I forgot.

One of them was basically me telling him that he's a v*** and that the rest of us came in while sick and that he has zero sense of responsibility toward the store and his job and that he should choke on a donkey dick while dying in a fire. Among other things.

Second one I sent him a pic of a couple pizzas and commented on how good they were and how he could be helping us enjoy them if he weren't such a fracking p***.

He probably won't talk to me again. I'm okay with that. I'll talk shit to him every day for the rest of my time there if I get this job with Wagner.

And for the record, this IS happening. Got the job offer today, officially putting in my two weeks tomorrow, and this guy's work life will be made hell for two weeks.

Edit. I came back to say a bit more. I do feel that I made a valid point. Sometimes people are there early yes, but in reality a lot of times the meet isnt really going till closer to seven.

If none of the organizers are going to be there, at least a post saying late or out from the organizers would be helpful. I don't feel that's unreasonable?

I got no issues keeping posts if they are actually civil and not just a bunch of rage/complaints There are other forums that have enough of that. Getting away from it is one of the reasons why MNGG was created. That being said your 'Edit' above is exactly what I would rather have seen the first time around

The time for the meets is 6pm and will stay 6pm on the forum. They have always been this and last year, people were showing up before 6pm all the time. This year people tend to be a bit later. But the time is going to stay "6pm roughly" as it has said for a couple years now.

I do post up if both Erik and I are going to be out of a meet on the FB Page, AND I try to warn people like Jon & James since they are the Admins. But I know you don't have FB, so I'll try to be better about posting it here too. It is VERY rare that both of us will miss a night, but stuff does come up (Sickness, work, life).

If you make it to a meet, and no one is there. Tell the nice Carbone's people that "I'm with the car people." And they'll seat you where we normally are. I will also update the first post to state such for anyone who does not know this and might get there first.

The Wed meets are ALWAYS going. It will never be canceled cause only one person is planning on showing up. It is a nice chance for people to get out of the house for an evening and enjoy some food/beer.
